S T R A S B O U R G

The town was originally spelled Strassburg, Strass meaning road or street in German and burg meaning castle. The name was changed by Canada's Geography department to the French spelling of Strasbourg in 1919.
The Post office opened on July 1, 1886.
The current population is 692.
